Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Misty Landscape With Scholar by Tian Liming was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2014. The price achieved of CNY 224,200.00 (€ 26,399.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tian Liming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunshine Series in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 1,416,000.00 (€ 169,767.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Misty Landscape With Scholar von Tian Liming kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in Beijing zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 224.200,00 (€ 26.399,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tian Liming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunshine Series im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.416.000,00 (€ 169.767,91).
