A top price for Thorwald Probst - as previously expected

The work Sunset, Grand Canyon 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. by Thorwald Probst was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,310.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sunset, Grand Canyon 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. is the most expensive artwork by Thorwald Probst that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sunset, Grand Canyon 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. von Thorwald Probst kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.310,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
