Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hardware by Thorsten Kirchhoff was sold in the Post war and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,340.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Thorsten Kirchhoff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work Goodwill was auctioned for EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hardware von Thorsten Kirchhoff wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Post war and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.340,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Thorsten Kirchhoff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit Goodwill für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert.
