Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Monte Fugla, 2008 by Thorsten Brinkmann for GBP 375.00 (€ 420.46). This price was achieved in the auction Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thorsten Brinkmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flossl in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 2,083.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Monte Fugla, 2008 von Thorsten Brinkmann für GBP 375,00 (€ 420,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thorsten Brinkmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flossl im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.083,00.
