Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roses, Camellia, Iris, Parrot Tulips And Morning Glory In A Glass Vase, With Peaches, Apricots And Grapes To The Side, On A Stone Ledge; And Camellias, Roses, Lilac, Narcissus And Parrot Tulips In A Glass Vase, With Grapes And Plums To The Side, On A by Thomas Webster was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in January 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 312.50 (€ 418.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Webster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maternal Affection in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 23,422.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roses, Camellia, Iris, Parrot Tulips And Morning Glory In A Glass Vase, With Peaches, Apricots And Grapes To The Side, On A Stone Ledge; And Camellias, Roses, Lilac, Narcissus And Parrot Tulips In A Glass Vase, With Grapes And Plums To The Side, On A von Thomas Webster wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert.
