Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Löwenzahn I". by Thomas Stimm was sold in the From Albers to Warhol | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,339.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Stimm - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blume., which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 4,165.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Löwenzahn I". von Thomas Stimm wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion From Albers to Warhol | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.339,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Stimm mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blume. beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 4.165,00 versteigert wurde.
