The work Rue de Couvent, Antwerp by Thomas Shotter Boys was sold in the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna auction at Christies in London in July 2019. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,489.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Shotter Boys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Pavillon de Flore, Tuileries, Paris in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 50,169.87).

Die Arbeit Rue de Couvent, Antwerp von Thomas Shotter Boys wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.489,67) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Shotter Boys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Pavillon de Flore, Tuileries, Paris im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 50.169,87).
