In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Unknown by Thomas Redmond. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,432.19), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Unknown the most expensive artwork by Thomas Redmond that we have observed at auctions so far.
