It achieved a price of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,895.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of The Campi Flegrei From The Camadolise Convent Near Naples in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 237,600.00 (€ 349,064.43).
