In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Milking time by Thomas James Lloyd. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,395.28), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Thomas James Lloyd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work August, At Wembury Near Plymouth in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 13,125.00 (€ 14,892.94).

Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Milking time von Thomas James Lloyd zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.395,28) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas James Lloyd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit August, At Wembury Near Plymouth im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.125,00 (€ 14.892,94).
