Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Hounds On The Scent by Thomas Ivester Lloyd. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,041.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ivester Lloyd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Going To The Meet; The Meet; Setting Off; At The Covert; On The Scent; Moving Off; Tally Ho!; Over The Fence; Clearing The Gate; Closing In; The Kill; Returning Home. in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,711.45).

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hounds On The Scent von Thomas Ivester Lloyd zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.041,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ivester Lloyd erzielen.
