In the Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale auction, the work White City changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 777.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ivester Lloyd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Going To The Meet; The Meet; Setting Off; At The Covert; On The Scent; Moving Off; Tally Ho!; Over The Fence; Clearing The Gate; Closing In; The Kill; Returning Home. in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,711.45).
