A top price for Thomas Hodgson Liddell - as previously expected
The work Hong Kong at dusk by Thomas Hodgson Liddell was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours and Oriental auction at Christies in London in December 2005. The result of GBP 300.00 (€ 435.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hong Kong at dusk is the most expensive artwork by Thomas Hodgson Liddell that we have observed at auctions so far.
