Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Setters at Rest by Thomas Hewes Hinckley for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,962.79). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Hewes Hinckley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The End of The Day: A Pointer And Setter With Game And A Shotgun At The Edge of A Wood in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 102,000.00 (€ 75,443.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Setters at Rest von Thomas Hewes Hinckley für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.962,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
