In the FINE AMERICAN PAINTINGS, DRAWINGS AND SCULPTURE auction, the work Still Life with Mushrooms; and Still Life with Eggs: Two works changed hands for USD 3,055.00 (€ 3,528.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Henry Hope have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Pipe And Bubbles in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,640.83).
