Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Harewood: Collecting in The Royal Tradition, which included the work The interior of a church by Thomas Hartley Cromek. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,083.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Hartley Cromek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Artist'S Wife Admiring The Skyline Of Florence With The Bargello, Badia, Forte Belvedere, Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo And Campanile, From A Roof Terrace On The Via Dei Servi in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,246.57).
