Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Sans Titre - 2014 by Thomas Canto. The price achieved of EUR 4,680.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Canto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Triangle Burst in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,255.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2014 von Thomas Canto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.680,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Canto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Triangle Burst im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.255,80).
