Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice by Thomas Bush Hardy was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,713.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bush Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Margate Harbor in July 2002 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,277.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice von Thomas Bush Hardy kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.713,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bush Hardy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Margate Harbor im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.680,00 (€ 29.277,26).
