This work of art by Thomas Blinks could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection auction, the work British walter Winans On The Running Deer Range, Wimbledon Common changed hands for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Blinks have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waiting For The Guns in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 564,000.00 (€ 417,159.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Blinks konnte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection wechselte die Arbeit British walter Winans On The Running Deer Range, Wimbledon Common für USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00.
