In February 2017 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Femme Au Chat by Théodule Ribot. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 910.00 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodule Ribot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La gourde vide (Die leere Flasche). in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2017 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme Au Chat von Théodule Ribot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 910,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodule Ribot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La gourde vide (Die leere Flasche). im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
