In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Still Life with Eggs, Garlic, and a Ceramic Jug sold for USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,048.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Théodule Ribot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La gourde vide (Die leere Flasche). in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Théodule Ribot erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit Still Life with Eggs, Garlic, and a Ceramic Jug für USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.048,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00.
