Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work Greek La Sentinelle by Théodore Jacques Ralli. The price achieved of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 73,033.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Jacques Ralli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 737,300.00 (€ 1,032,410.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek La Sentinelle von Théodore Jacques Ralli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 73.033,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodore Jacques Ralli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 737.300,00 (€ 1.032.410,75).
