Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek the Weavers, Arachova by Théodore Jacques Ralli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,815.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Jacques Ralli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 737,300.00 (€ 1,032,410.75).

Die Arbeit Greek the Weavers, Arachova von Théodore Jacques Ralli kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
