Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work View of Diamond Head (Ainahau) by Theodore Wores was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,000.00 (€ 29,336.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Wores achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Musicians in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 483,000.00 (€ 426,565.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit View of Diamond Head (Ainahau) von Theodore Wores wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.000,00 (€ 29.336,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Wores erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Musicians im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 483.000,00 (€ 426.565,40).
