It achieved a price of USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,320.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Wores achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Musicians in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 483,000.00 (€ 426,565.40).

Die Arbeit Japanese Maiden von Theodore Wores kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.355,00 (€ 5.320,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Wores erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Musicians im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 483.000,00 (€ 426.565,40).
