Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Wildflowers of the Sand Dunes, San Francisco by Theodore Wores was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,907.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Wores achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Musicians in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 483,000.00 (€ 426,565.40).

Die Arbeit The Wildflowers of the Sand Dunes, San Francisco von Theodore Wores wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.907,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Wores erzielen.
