Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Théodore Rousseau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. In the Old Master & XIXth Century Art auction, the work Halte De Cavalier Près D'Une Chaumière sold for EUR 3,640.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Rousseau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le chêne de roche in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 468,500.00 (€ 413,430.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Théodore Rousseau erzielte im März 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art wurde die Arbeit Halte De Cavalier Près D'Une Chaumière für EUR 3.640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodore Rousseau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le chêne de roche im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 468.500,00 (€ 413.430,99).
