A top price for Theodor Baierl - as previously expected
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work The Decameron, The Garden of the Villa by Theodor Baierl. The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,317.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Decameron, The Garden of the Villa is the most expensive artwork by Theodor Baierl that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Decameron, The Garden of the Villa von Theodor Baierl zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.317,68) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Decameron, The Garden of the Villa das teuerste Kunstwerk von Theodor Baierl, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
