Despite a disappointment, a good price for Theo MacKaay
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Theo MacKaay for EUR 1,625.00. This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Theo MacKaay that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Theo MacKaay
Im März 2013 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Theo MacKaay für EUR 1.625,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Nineteen to Now bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Theo MacKaay, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
