Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Naakt - Nude by Theo Kurpershoek. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Admittedly, works by Theo Kurpershoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bonjour Mme K. in March 2000 with an auction result of NLG 29,255.00 (€ 12,445.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Naakt - Nude von Theo Kurpershoek zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theo Kurpershoek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bonjour Mme K. im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 29.255,00 (€ 12.445,75).
