Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Eysden Zuid Limburg Zinkwitfabriek by Theo Kurpershoek for EUR 1,195.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theo Kurpershoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bonjour Mme K. in March 2000 with an auction result of NLG 29,255.00 (€ 12,445.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Eysden Zuid Limburg Zinkwitfabriek von Theo Kurpershoek für EUR 1.195,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theo Kurpershoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bonjour Mme K. im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 29.255,00 (€ 12.445,75).
