Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian Untitled (Fan) by Thea Proctor was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2009. It achieved a price of AUD 7,200.00 (€ 4,390.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Other works by Thea Proctor have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 9,600.00 (€ 5,740.58) in August 2007 for the work Australian Pair Of Watercolours, A Day By The Beach And A Day By The River (2).
