Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,112.50 (€ 13,521.64). Admittedly, works by Thanos Tsingos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Flowers On A Blue Background in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 80,162.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sea von Thanos Tsingos kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.112,50 (€ 13.521,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thanos Tsingos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Flowers On A Blue Background im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 80.162,68).
