Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Plaie et flamme by Thanos Tsingos. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,320.00. Admittedly, works by Thanos Tsingos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Flowers On A Blue Background in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 80,162.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plaie et flamme von Thanos Tsingos zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.320,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thanos Tsingos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Flowers On A Blue Background im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 80.162,68).
