Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coquelicots by Thanos Tsingos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 12,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thanos Tsingos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Flowers On A Blue Background in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 80,162.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coquelicots von Thanos Tsingos wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thanos Tsingos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Flowers On A Blue Background im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 80.162,68).
