The work Malay Couple by Tew Nai Tong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,756.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. With this result, Malay Couple is even the most expensive work of art by Tew Nai Tong that we have observed at auctions so far.
