Auction result well in line with expectations
The work HUMAN PARADISE II-32 by Tetsutaro Kamatani was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,991.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tetsutaro Kamatani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Human Paradise II-bird,, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 367,500.00 (€ 32,126.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit HUMAN PARADISE II-32 von Tetsutaro Kamatani wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.991,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tetsutaro Kamatani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Human Paradise II-bird, beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 367.500,00 (€ 32.126,23) versteigert wurde.
