Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Peaches by Terry Richardson for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,180.11). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terry Richardson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Five works, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,994.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peaches von Terry Richardson für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.180,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Terry Richardson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Five works beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.994,33) versteigert wurde.
