Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Space Ring Construction by Terry Pope was sold in the Modern/British Art Online auction at Christies in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,837.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terry Pope - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Linear Space Construction No. 1, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,521.70).
