Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Lake Como from Menaggio by Terrick Williams for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,168.99). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Terrick Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A street corner, Cassis, near Marseille in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,730.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lake Como from Menaggio von Terrick Williams für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.168,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terrick Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A street corner, Cassis, near Marseille im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.730,21).
