Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2002 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Mixed Bunch by Terence Loudon. The price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 834.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence Loudon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, hyacinths, fresias, carnations, narcissi, roses, anenomies and primroses arranged in a wicker basket on a wooden ledge, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,946.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mixed Bunch von Terence Loudon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 528,75 (€ 834,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Terence Loudon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tulips, hyacinths, fresias, carnations, narcissi, roses, anenomies and primroses arranged in a wicker basket on a wooden ledge beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.946,17) versteigert wurde.
