In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale - The Collection of the late Anne, Lady Hollenden, which included the work White Camelias In A Glass Vase On A Stone Ledge by Terence Loudon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 840.00 (€ 1,255.03), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Terence Loudon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tulips, hyacinths, fresias, carnations, narcissi, roses, anenomies and primroses arranged in a wicker basket on a wooden ledge sold at auction in December 2011 with the realized price of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,946.17).
