Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Rush Hour Traffic by Terence Cuneo. The price achieved of GBP 4,096.00 (€ 4,746.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terence Cuneo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Lickey Incline in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 102,751.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rush Hour Traffic von Terence Cuneo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.096,00 (€ 4.746,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terence Cuneo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Lickey Incline im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 102.751,45).
