Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Terence Cuneo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Power Station and Wharf Under Construction sold for GBP 7,040.00 (€ 8,213.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terence Cuneo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Lickey Incline in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 102,751.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terence Cuneo erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Power Station and Wharf Under Construction für GBP 7.040,00 (€ 8.213,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terence Cuneo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Lickey Incline im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 102.751,45).
