Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture, which included the work A Teddy Weahkee Figure by Teddy Weahkee. The price achieved of USD 1,211.25 (€ 1,026.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Teddy Weahkee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Teddy Weahkee Figure, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 2,422.50 (€ 2,052.97).

Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Teddy Weahkee Figure von Teddy Weahkee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.211,25 (€ 1.026,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
