A top price for Ted Gahl - as previously expected
The work Commuter (How Do You Do?) by Ted Gahl was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,042.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Commuter (How Do You Do?) is the most expensive artwork by Ted Gahl that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Commuter (How Do You Do?) von Ted Gahl kam im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.042,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Commuter (How Do You Do?) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ted Gahl, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
