A top price for Ted Gahl - as previously expected
The work Commuter (How Do You Do?) by Ted Gahl was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,042.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Commuter (How Do You Do?) is the most expensive artwork by Ted Gahl that we have observed at auctions so far.
