In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work I Don't Mind The Loneliness from the series In The Time Of Isolation by Tania Marmolejo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 252,000.00 (€ 31,271.14), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tania Marmolejo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Surprise Conclusion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Don't Mind The Loneliness from the series In The Time Of Isolation von Tania Marmolejo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 31.271,14) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tania Marmolejo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Surprise Conclusion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
