Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Putuo in the afternoon by Tang Yunyu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,503.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Yunyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining Nude on a Green Couch, which sold at auction in November 2012 for HKD 402,500.00 (€ 39,909.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Putuo in the afternoon von Tang Yunyu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.503,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Yunyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining Nude on a Green Couch beobachtet, die im November 2012 für HKD 402.500,00 (€ 39.909,68) versteigert wurde.
