Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bridge by Tang Yunyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,390.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Tang Yunyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude on a Green Couch in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 402,500.00 (€ 39,909.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bridge von Tang Yunyu kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.390,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Yunyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude on a Green Couch im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 402.500,00 (€ 39.909,68).
