Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Rooster by Tang Yun. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 19,125.00 (€ 2,247.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,760,000.00 (€ 270,173.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rooster von Tang Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 19.125,00 (€ 2.247,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.760.000,00 (€ 270.173,15).
